My goal is to change the way we design and purchase footwear through the application of modular design. Modular means that the product can be disassembled and reassembled to maximize the space it uses and its function. Creating a collection of footwear that is completely modular will allow the consumer to participate in part of the design process. Unless a product is bespoke or tailor made it is not a truly customized product. Commercial products cannot offer that level of customization without creating waste due to the products not applying to a wide enough audience. The average consumer is not able to afford a bespoke pair of shoes but they still want products that feel unique and individual to them.

This collection will create an affordable opportunity for the everyday consumer to purchase high quality, customized footwear that fits their specific style and needs. Each component will be sold separately, meaning that individual pieces can be replaced if they fail or go out of trend extending the life cycle of the product as a whole.
